Up Next for the Redhawks: Following their second straight home win in 2010, the Seattle University women's basketball team will travel to Cal State Northridge for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, Feb. 10. The contest will mark CSUN's Pink Zone game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer prevention and awareness.

Last Time Out: The Redhawks (5-20) earned their second consecutive win at home on Feb. 6, versus South Dakota. The 52-42 victory saw a team-leading 15 points from Tatiana Heck and 13 from Ashley Brown. The Redhawks, who had lost to the Coyotes nearly a month before played solid and sound basketball for the full 40 minutes.

On Deck: SU will host the University of North Dakota on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at KeyArena at Seattle Center. The 4:10 p.m. contest will mark their only game this season to be played at the professional arena. Following their game, the SeattleU men's team will take on UC Davis in Redhawk doubleheader action at 7:10 p.m.

Seven and Counting...: Junior Tatiana Heck's stock is continually rising for the Redhawks, as she has scored in double-figures in the last seven games. She is the third player to be averaging in double-digits, with 10.0 points per game. In her last outing she scored a team-leading 15 points to led the Redhawks to a 52-42 victory over South Dakota on Feb. 6.

Final Trip to the Golden State: SU will be making their fifth and final trip to California this week when they take on Cal State Northridge on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Consecutive Wins at Home: With a majority of their scheduled games played on the road, the Redhawks have enjoyed the comforts of home at the Connolly Center. They are currently riding a two-game home win streak after defeating South Dakota 52-42 on Feb. 6.

Scouting Cal State Northridge: Cal State Northridge (3-17) heads into Wednesday's game sporting a five game losing streak. Most recently they fell at home to UC Riverside 75-53 on Feb. 4, and Long Beach State on Feb. 6, 86-67. The Matadors are being outscored by 13.9 points per game by opponents and are averaging 59.2 points per game.

Versus Long Beach State, Katrina Thompson scored a team-leading 16 points and Violet Alama had 15, for the only two to score in double-figures. CSULB had four players score in double-digits, and they outrebounded the Matadors 39 to 27.

Leading CSUN this season is Bridgette Conejo, who is averaging 12.7 points and 5.4 boards per game. Jasmine Erving is the only other player to being scoring in double-figures, with 12.5.  Thompson is the team's rebounding leader with 5.8 and Janelle Nomura had 64 assists.

Behind 15 points from junior Tatiana Heck the Seattle University women's basketball team defeated the University of South Dakota 52-42 Saturday afternoon at the Connolly Center. With the win, SU closed out their season series with the Coyotes and earned their fifth victory of the year. The Redhawks, who held their Pink Zone game to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, gave fans a great all-around performance on the court and partnered with the Kay Yow Foundation to work to fight for a cure.

The Redhawks played sound basketball and controlled the tempo of the game. They outrebounded the Coyotes 35 to 27, including limiting USD to six offensive boards. They shot 41.2 (21-for-51) percent from the field.

Ashley Brown also scored in double-digits, with 13, and led the squad with seven rebounds.
