Last Time Out: The Redhawks (4-19) suffered an 82-76 overtime loss at Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 27. After heading into halftime down by 20, SU rallied back and sent the game into extra periods, but were unable to come home with the road victory.

The Turn Around: The Redhawks came back from a 20 point halftime deficit to send their game at Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 27, into overtime. SeattleU scored 44 points in the second half to send the game into extra time.
The contest marked the second extra period game the Redhawks had played all season. After battling back, SU was unable to make their come-from-behind run a Cinderella ending with their first road win, as they fell 82-76.
Murillo Puts on Season-Best Performance: Senior Cassidy Murillo had a season-best performance at Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 27. The Yakima, Wash. native was instrumental in SU's come-from-behind run, to send the game into overtime. She scored a season-high 19 points, and tallied five boards and four assists in 41 minutes of action.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles: The Redhawks will remain on the road to open up the month of February, as they have been on the road for eight of their last 10 games. SeattleU has played in four different states during that time span, traveling to California, both North and South Dakota, and playing at home in Washington.
Heck's on a Roll: Junior Tatiana Heck has been on an offensive roll for the Redhawks. The center has scored in double-figures in SeattleU's last five games. She is averaging just under 10 points per game (9.6), and was one of four double-digit scorers in SU's game at Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 27, with 14 points.
Four Score!: At Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 27, four SeattleU players scored in double-figures in the overtime contest. Leading scorer Ashley Brown knocked in 22, to bring her season average to 14.3. Having a standout game was classmate Cassidy Murillo, with 19 points. Rounding out the top scorers were Tatiana Heck (14) and Maggie McCarthy (11).
Scouting Eastern Washington: The Eastern Washington Eagles (13-7, 7-1 Big Sky) have won seven of their last eight games going into Wednesday's game. Most recently they snapped their seven game win streak with a conference loss at Portland State, 67-60, on Jan. 30.
In the game, Julia Piper scored a team-leading 15 points, and Chene Cooper tallied 13 off the bench points. The Eagles led at halftime 31-26, but the Viking's 41 second half points handed them their first loss in the month of January.
On the year, Piper is averaging 10.8 points per game and is the only EWU player to be scoring in double-digits. Brianne Ryan leads the Eagle's rebounding efforts, as she is averaging 4.8 per game, and Jessica Huntington has dished 79 assists on the year.
Wednesday's matchup with be the eighth all-time between both squads. The Redhawks are 5-2 all-time versus Eastern.

After coming back from a 20 point first half deficit, the Seattle University women's basketball team could not hang on to their late point advantage, as they fell 82-76 in overtime at Cal State Fullerton Wednesday evening.
It was another tale of two halves for the Redhawks, who experienced a forgettable first period of play. They were held to just 26.9 percent (7-for-26) from the field, while the Titans took off on a 20 point advantage to head into halftime with a 38-18 lead after shooting 40 percent (14-for-35).
After scoring 44 second half points, SU sent the game into overtime, but fell short to the hosting Titans. In the game, four players scored in double-figures: Ashley Brown (22), Cassidy Murillo (19), Tatiana Heck (14) and Maggie McCarthy (11).
