Caitlin McCleary (The Dalles, Ore.) led the way for Seattle University, shooting 77 and 80 for a two-day total of 157 to finish in fifth place. Shannon Quinn (Shoreline, Wash.) also finished in the top ten, earning an eighth place finish after shooting rounds of 77 and 82 for a cumulative total of 159.
Lana Cox (San Clemente, Calif.) shot rounds of 79 and 82 for a final score of 161, good enough to finish in a tie for 12th place. Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) followed an opening-round 86 with a second-round 76, the lowest score by any SeattleU golfer in either round of the tournament, to finish in a tie for 14th place with a final score of 162. Christine Cook (Yakima, Wash.) shot rounds of 87 and 84 for a two-day total of 171, finishing in a tie for 21st place.
On the men's side, Alec Pakzad (Bellevue, Wash.) was the low scorer for Seattle University, finishing in a tie for 17th place after shooting rounds of 75 and 72 for a two-day total of 147. Sam Bell (Park City, Utah) shot rounds of 73 and 76, while Rob Seibly (Spokane, Wash.) posted scores of 75 and 74, each earning cumulative scores of 149 for a tie for 19th place.
Kris Jackson (Snohomish, Wash.) shot rounds of 76 and 74 for a two-round total of 150, finishing in a tie for 26th place. Justin Goar (Montesano, Wash.) finished in a tie for 30th place after shooting rounds of 73 and 78 for a cumulative total of 151.
While the fall season for the women's golf team has concluded, the men's golf team will head to Hawaii for the Kauai Collegiate Invitational at Lihue, Kauai, next Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 26-28.
