The Redhawks responded with a 10-2 run of their own to go on top, 15-8, and the two teams would basically trade points the rest of the way, with Richards finishing off the first set with a kill.
The early part of the second set was close, but went on a 6-2 run to take a 16-12 lead. fought back, as a kill by Richards, a block from Keller, and a Kaytlyn Dill () kill closed the Wildcat margin to one at 18-17. That would be as close as the visitors got, as a Jenna Leggat kill gave the second set, tying the match heading into the intermission.
After the intermission, the Wildcats took the early lead thanks in part to four straight attack errors. Down 20-11, the Redhawks tried to come back, scoring three straight points on a Wildcat service error, a block by Dill and Janet Beckerman (), and a Beckerman kill. settled down and won the third set on a kill by Amy Dunford.
(15-11) dominated the fourth set from the start, scoring four straight points to take a 6-2 lead with kills by Chelsea Bair and Leggat and two blocks from Dunford. After scored three unanswered points, the Wildcats went on a 9-1 run to open up a 15-6 advantage. finished the set with a 9-2 run, hitting .450 in the set to go along with four aces and five blocks.
Libby Graff () finished the match with ten kills, while Dill had nine kills, a service ace, six digs, and three block assists. Beckerman earned six kills to go along with her three block assists, and Jamie Mellies () also finished with three blocks to go along with 36 assists, a service ace, and six digs. Shelly Anderson () led the Redhawk defense with 16 digs.
For , Bair led the way with 16 kills and two service aces, plus she earned 15 digs and three block assists. Leah Burmeister contributed 12 kills and eight digs, while Brittney Bisaillon added ten kills and two blocks to the winning cause. Leggat and Dunford each had six kills, with Leggat also earning seven digs and Dunford finishing with five total blocks. Kim Lissinna (23 assists) and Jocilyn Randall (22 assists) split the setting duties, and Caitlyn Anderson led the team with 18 digs.
