Justin Goar continues to lead the way for the men’s golf team, posting the Redhawks’ best score of the first round of the Viking Invitational hosted by at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club Friday.
Goar made four birdies, tied for third most among all the competitors, as he shot 75 (+3) to finish the day in a tie for 30th place, seven strokes behind co-leaders Brandon Harkins of and Spencer Shishido of . Teammate Kevin Ormstead also played well, shooting a 78 (+6) to put himself in a tie for 44th place. Brady Kameshige also competed Friday in his first action of the season for .
