After finishing the 2007-08 season as ’s leading scorer with 12.5 points per game, senior forward Ryan Coldren () has earned second team All-GNAC recognition in voting by the conference coaches released Monday afternoon by the conference office.

One of two players to start every game for this year, Coldren scored in double figures 18 times this season, including four games with 20 or more points. He earned a career-high 23 points at on Dec. 22. Over the last six games of the season, he averaged 15.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Coldren finished the regular season 18th in the conference in scoring and 20th in rebounding with 5.2 rebounds per game. He was also fourth in the GNAC in free throw percentage, hitting 86-of-102 attempts from the charity stripe for a .843 percentage. In 18 conference games, Coldren averaged 12.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as finished with an 11-7 GNAC record.

Junior Michael Wright () also earned honorable mention recognition by the GNAC coaches after averaging 9.0 points and a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures 13 times, capped by a season-high 17 points in Saturday’s 40-point victory over Montana State Billings. He earned three double-doubles during the year and was named GNAC Player of the Week on Feb. 11 after helping SeattleU defeat Northwest Nazarene and Seattle Pacific on the road.

The men’s basketball team earned its third consecutive winning season with an 18-9 record. The program will now begin the reclassification process towards Division I membership.
