2008-09: Michael ended his career with the Redhawk’s with an excellent senior season. He led the team in rebounds at 7.1 per game while posting double figure scoring in 15 games. Wright started in 27 out of 28 games, averaging 28.0 minutes per game. He had 5 double, doubles including a 22 point 13 rebound effort in a victory over SIU-Edwardsville on January 24th and a 16 point 12 rebound performance in a February 16th win at Cal State Bakersfield.  

2007-08: Wright had an exceptional junior season for the Redhawks. He led the team in field goal percentage at 58 percent (102-of-177) and rebounds with 168 (6.0 avg.). Wright played in all 27 of the Redhawks' games last season, starting in 12. He averaged 9.0 points and a team high 6.0 rebounds in 23 minutes per game. Wright was named player of the week for his performance in the win over Seattle Pacific University on February 9, when he scored a season-high tying 15 points and collected 10 rebounds while blocking 2 shots.  

Pierce College: Led his team to a 21-11 record his sophomore season a Pierce College where he was named team MVP, First Team All-Conference,  NWAAC Co-MVP, and First Team All-NWAAC Tournament Team. Led his team to a 14-17 season during his freshman year and was named to the all-conference team.

Steilacoom HS: Did not play basketball in high school.

Personal: Major at Seattle is sociology...Born November 30, 1984, his parents are Michael and Ruth Wright.
