After becoming the fourth and fourth GNAC women’s soccer player to reach 100 career points, scoring a goal in both victories over the past week, Leah Wymer () has been named GNAC Co-Player of the Week, announced Monday morning by the conference office.

In Wednesday’s 4-2 victory over Western Washington, Wymer scored the second goal of the match, as she received a cross from Maryann Boddy (Bellevue, Wash.) and one-touched it with her left foot into the net. It was Wymer’s 41st career goal, moving her past Trisha Tateyama into third place on ’s career goals list.

Sunday against Central Washington, Kate Edstrom (Portland, Ore.) sent a long pass that fell behind the Wildcat defense as Wymer caught up to the ball. Wymer dribbled in alone and sent her shot past Central Washington goalie Amber Easterbrook. The goal enabled Wymer to join Tateyama, Ingrid Gunnestad, and Nichole Sauvageau as members of ’s 100-point club. The tally was Wymer’s 42nd of her career, just two behind Gunnestad and three behind Sauvageau on ’s all-time goals list.

All four members of the GNAC 100-point club come from Seattle schools, as Wymer joins Sauvageau, Shannon Lovejoy of Seattle Pacific, and Sarah Martinez of SPU. , who passed Lovejoy to become the GNAC’s all-time points leader last week, shares this week’s award with Wymer. The two seniors from Bothell also share the conference lead in goals with 15 each so far this season.
