Rebekah Ray joined the Seattle University athletics department in 2014. After three years as the Coordinator of Game Operations and Athletic Facilities, Ray was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities & Event Management in July 2017 and in March 2019 was promoted to Associate AD for Facilities and Operations. Ray also serves as the department's Senior Woman Administrator.
Ray came to Seattle U after working as the Event, Facilities, and Equipment Coordinator for Shoreline Community College, where she directed all events for seven sports and oversaw facility rentals. She also served as the Director of Gameday Operations for the Seattle Sounders Women of the USL W-League and a Marketing and Promotions Associate for the WNBA's Seattle Storm.
Ray has worked several collegiate championship events, including the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament at KeyArena in both 2013 and 2014, the NCAA Gymnastics Regional Championship in 2012, and the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Seattle U at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Ray received her Bachelor of Science degree in applied learning development from the University of Texas in 2011 and her Master's Degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership from the University of Washington in 2012.
