Mark Hooper returns for his sixth season as assistant coach for the Redhawks. He helped build the tennis program in the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons and was a member of the 1977 SU tennis team.
Mark has spent many years teaching in the greater Seattle area and has worked with students of all ages and abilities, ranging from beginners to nationally-ranked juniors. He holds a USPTA-Elite certification, the highest level of certification an instructor can attain.
As a player, Mark continues to compete in leagues on nationally-competitive teams and tournaments. He has the distinction of having earned a Pacific Northwest region No. 1 doubles ranking in each age group, most recently the 55+ division.
