Kara Snell enters her second year in the Seattle University athletics department as a game operations graduate assistant. She is responsible for preseason food for the athletes as well as many behind-the-scenes aspects of the games, including concessions and field set-up, etc.
Before coming to Seattle U, the University of Arizona alum (2007) spent 3 years in San Diego. While in San Diego, she went to San Diego State University, where she pursued a Master's degree in Kinesiology, emphasis in Rehab Sciences. She was an active volunteer for a local physical therapy clinic as well as a regular at local race expos. After SDSU, she was a Physical Education instructor for middle school students and ran the school's basketball program in conjunction with the Jackie Robinson YMCA.
Kara is entering her second year in the Sports and Leadership Administration program. During the summer of 2012, she was an intern within the University of California, Berkeley, athletics department.
