Jeff MacDoniels comes to Seattle University with extensive college tennis and mentorship experience. He’s enjoyed a 25 year career as a tennis coach, business consultant, fitness studio owner, and real estate investor.
MacDoniels is passionate about helping others reach their potential and perform at their best, and he’s served as a coach or mentor to hundreds of players. His involvement in college tennis has always been a constant and he brings a wealth of knowledge of the game along with unwavering support for our players.
As a player, MacDoniels competed at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He was a multi-sport high school athlete but increased his focus on tennis while in college. He improved quickly and played #1 all four years at Hope, achieving a national ranking of 46th 1997. MacDoniels was also captain of the team and partnered with a teammate to create the college’s first summer tennis camp.
