Gavin McHugh begins his 1st season at Seatle University working with developing hitters and infielders. With extensive experience working with organizations like the Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners and Schaumburg Flyers, Gavin has honed his skills in training athletes to reach their full potential.
Specializing in swing mechanics, infield fundamentals, and game strategy, Gavin combines cutting-edge techniques with proven methods. His coaching philosophy emphasizes building confidence, enhancing performance, and fostering a genuine love for the game. He believes that strong fundamentals and a positive mindset are essential for success both on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, Gavin enjoys spending quality time with his son, Brayden and following his alma mater, O’Dea High School and the New York Yankees.
