Garrett DeGallier

DeGallier enters his second season with the Redhawks program and 10th overall year in college baseball. He served in a player development role during the 2024 season, and will undertake operational responsibilities heading into 2025.

Prior to joining the Redhawks in 2024, DeGallier spent 4 years (2020 to 2023) at the University of the Pacific as an assistant coach.  During his time at UOP, DeGallier served in multiple roles for the program as the volunteer assistant coach, with responsibilities including OF & INF defensive coach, base running, scouting reports, assistant hitting coach, camp coordinator, & coached first base. DeGallier also served in the full time assistant role for the COVID shortened 2020 season and aided in recruiting efforts during that period. Throughout his tenure at Pacific, DeGallier aided in the development of three Tiger MLB draft picks, and aided in yearly statistical improvements with the UOP offense. 

Prior to joining University of the Pacific in 2020, DeGallier served 4 years as an assistant coach & graduate assistant at DII Concordia Portland (2016 -2019).  While at Concordia, DeGallier’s responsibilities included OF & INF defensive coach, baserunning, coaching first base, and was the programs JV head coach. DeGallier was also instrumental in recruiting during that time, highlighted by 4 GNAAC & 1 ALL West Region nominations within his full year of recruiting responsibilities, and later 2 players who went on to have successful DI playing careers after the schools closure in 2020. DeGallier’s recruiting efforts during his time at Concordia successfully aided in Concordia’s transition from the NAIA to NCAA DII, in which Concordia earned its first ever GNAAC conference tournament appearance. 

As a player, DeGallier spent two seasons as an outfielder for TCC in the NWAAC, later transferring to the University of South Alabama, where he played outfield for the Jaguars for the 2014 & 2015 seasons. The Jaguars were crowned Sun Belt regular season champions in 2015.

DeGallier, a native of Bellevue, WA, graduated from Eastside Catholic HS in 2010, lettering in both Football & Baseball. 

He and his wife currently reside in Bellevue.
