Erin Karner, most recently, worked as a third grade teacher at Grand Ridge Elementary School in Issaquah, Wash. (2014-15) where she was in charge of 25 third graders in all content areas.
While working as a teacher, she also was a volunteer assistant soccer coach for the Seattle United U16 Girls Soccer Team in 2014-15.
Karner is a 2014 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
During her time in Champaign, she was a member of the women's soccer team where she served as team president for her senior season (2013-14). As president, she organized fundraising efforts, helped with schedules and travel arrangements, and assisted with team budgets and financial expenses.
Karner is currently pursuing her Master's of Sports Administration and Leadership (MSAL) at Seattle University with a targeted graduation date of June 2017.
