Edith Shrekengast

Edith Shreckengast is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), board certified in sports nutrition (CSSD), and certified dietitian (CD) in the state of Washington. She received a Master’s degree from Virginia Tech in Nutrition where she worked with the Varsity Athletics Sports Nutrition Oasis team. Edith received Triathlon Collegiate All-American honors in college and came in 13th overall female for the 2016 Pittsburgh marathon. 

Edith currently is the consulting sports dietitian for Seattle University and a clinical health coach at Community Health Plan of Washington. Edith was the head dietitian with Excela Health Well Being Center in Pittsburgh where she created the first eating disorder outpatient nutrition services and sports nutrition services.  Edith has also consulted with Ready Nutrition Company, the University of Pittsburgh Football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carnegie Mellon University athletics, RMU hockey, Seton Hill University, Carlow University, and Duquesne University athletics.

Edith specializes in eating disorders and performance nutrition to help athletes reach their full potential with a food first philosophy. In her free time, Edith loves to try new food spots or take her two cattle dogs out for a run.
