David Whyte joined the Seattle U student athlete support service team in the summer of 2022.
Whyte comes to Seattle U from Kentucky Wesleyan where he served as the Compliance and Student Athlete Development Coordinator since August 2021. At Kentucky Wesleyan, Whyte assisted the athletic department with NCAA compliance, academic support, student athlete development and welfare issues, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and support the goals and policies of KWC, the G-MAC and the NCAA.

Prior to Kentucky Wesleyan, Whyte served as the Sports & Exercise Psychology Consultant for the women's soccer team at Barry University in Miami, Fla. Along with working with women's soccer, Whyte was Barry's Athletic Compliance Intern. Prior to his time at Barry, Whyte was an Athletic Administrative Assistant and Facilities Coordinator Intern in the Morgan State Athletic Department from 2012-17.
Whyte graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Morgan State University in 2017 and earned his MBA/M.S. in Sports, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from Barry University in May of 2021.
