Bobby Matthews joined the Seattle University athletics staff in March 2019 and was named the Assistant Director of The Redhawk Experience (TREx) in November 2019. He was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in October 2023.
Matthews came to Seattle U after 20 years as a high school teacher. He graduated from Washington & Lee University (Virginia) where he was the captain of the men's tennis team.
