Longtime collegiate administrator Andy Fee joined the Seattle University Athletics senior leadership team as Deputy Athletic Director beginning in August 2024.
"We are thrilled to welcome Andy Fee to the Redhawk Family," Director of Athletics Shaney Fink said. "This is an exciting time for Redhawk Athletics and Seattle University and the tremendous depth and breadth of experience that Andy will bring to this role, allows us to leverage our momentum to best serve our student athletes and university community."
A proven administrator, with over 25 years of experience working across the athletics department, Fee spent the last two years at the University of Washington as Deputy Athletic Director & Chief of Staff.
"I am deeply grateful to Director of Athletics Shaney Fink and President Eduardo Peñalver for the opportunity to join this esteemed university during such an exciting time of growth for college athletics," Fee said. "The work we do to empower our student athletes will have a profound and positive impact on their lives, and I am thrilled to be part of the exceptional team Shaney has built."
At UW, Fee oversaw sport administration and strategic initiatives, medical services, student athlete wellness and strength and conditioning. He managed the Huskies' partnership with Learfield Sports Properties, assisted the fundraising for the new men's and women's basketball practice facility, partnered on expanding NIL opportunities and led Washington's transition team to the Big Ten Conference.

Fee spent five years as the Director of Athletics at Long Beach State University. During this time, Long Beach State's athletic programs found great success as the school advanced to the postseason in 18 of its 19 sports programs in his five-year tenure.
Prior to Long Beach State, Fee served in leadership roles at UC Santa Barbara, University of San Diego and Arizona State University. He also served as the Chair of both the NCAA Men's Water Polo Committee and NCAA Water Polo Rules Committee from 2018-2022.
