2019-20: WAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week (Feb. 3-9)… WAC Women’s Singles Athlete of the Week (Jan. 20-26)… 4-13 overall, 2-10 dual, 2-3 tournament (singles)… won 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 over British Columbia (Feb. 14)… won 6-0, 6-4 over Idaho State (Jan. 25)… reached the consolation semifinals at the Cougar Classic (Oct. 6-8)… 6-12 overall, 4-9 dual, 2-3 tournament (doubles)… won 6-1 over Whitman College (Feb. 15)… won 6-4 over British Columbia… won 7-6 (12-10) against Montana State (Feb. 8)… reached the consolation semifinals at the Cougar Classic.
2018-19: 14-13 overall, 10-10 dual, 4-3 tournament, 1-1 WAC (singles)… best singles win came against George Fox (Mar. 8) 6-0, 6-0… 12-15 overall, 11-9 dual, 1-6 tournament, 1-2 WAC (doubles)… best doubles win was against George Fox, 6-0.
2017-18: WAC Singles Player of the Week (March 26- April 1), 11-18 overall, 7-13 dual, 4-5 tournament, 3-2 WAC (singles) ... WAC All-Tournament Doubles Second Team, WAC Doubles Player of the Week (Jan. 15-21), 15-13 overall, 12-10 dual, 3-3 tournament, 2-3 WAC (doubles).
High School: Gianan comes to Seattle U from Camas, Wash., where she attended Camas High School. Giana was a two-time State Doubles Champion and two-time State Singles Finalist. Gianan was the two-time All-League Singles Player of the Year, two-time Team MVP, two-time Captain's Award winner and recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award.
Personal: Gianan is a Biology major and wants to pursue a career in pediatrics. She enjoys traveling, art and music.
