Kat Cuevas enters her fourth season as an assistant coach for the Seattle University swimming program. Cuevas was a swimmer for the Redhawks for three years, concentrating on the butterfly and backstroke disciplines. She notched the fourth-best 100 butterfly time (59.84) and fifth-best 200 butterfly time (2:13.88) in Seattle women's swimming history at the 2003 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships.
Before coming to Seattle University, Cuevas attended Snohomish High School, where she was a team captain and a member of three state championship teams.
Cuevas is presently in the Master of Sports Administration and Leadership program at Seattle University.
