High School: Rodriguez was a three-time team MVP for the Round Rock High School Dragons, swimming in both freestyle and butterfly events. A member of the National Honor Society, Rodriguez accumulated the most community service hours among the members of the senior class.
Club: Rodriguez competed for Texas Gold Swimming for eight years.
Personal: Rodriguez is the daughter of Rudy and Diana Rodriguez, and she has an older brother named Taylor. Her dad played baseball at the University of Texas, and her aunt Debbie Yates was a basketball player at the University of Houston. Born in Austin, Texas, she is majoring in history.
