On October 9, Hanohano swam against the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. She competed in the 200 Freestyle with a final time of 1:58.04, the 100 Freestyle with a 54.41, the 200 Freestyle Relay with a 1:42.90, the 100 Freestyle with a 54.75, the 400 Freestyle Relay with a 3:45.96, and the 200 Freestyle with a final time of 1:59.70.
At Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Championships, contributed to first place finish in 400 Medley Relay with a team time of 3:50.53 ... competed in 800 Freestyle Relay, team placed third with a time of 7:40.60 ... competed in 50 Freestyle, placed sixth with a time of 23.84 ... competed in 200 Freestyle Relay, team placed third with a time of 1:36.58 ... competed in 200 Freestyle, placed third with a time of 1:50.68 ... competed in 100 Freestyle, placed fifth with a time of 51.38 ... competed in 400 Freestyle relay, team placed third with a time of 3:30.80.
2007-08: Hanohano set four of her season best times at the Simon Fraser Clan Cup in November with times of 1:04.09 in the 100yd free, 4:52.50 in the 400yd free, 2:15.96 in the 200yd free, and 2:37.72 in the 200yd individual medley. At the PCSC Championships, Hanonhana helped the 200 free relay team to a seventh place finish with a time of 1:39.90. She also had three individual top 25 finishes, placing 20th in the 200 individual medley with a 2:13.52, a 21st in the 100 butterfly with a 1:01.81, and a 22nd in the 100 free with a 55.25.
2006-07: Hanohano recorded season best times at the PCSC Championships where she finished 29th in the 100 free in a time of 54.67 and finished 30th in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.71. She also competed in several relays, helping Seattle to a seventh place finish in the 400 medley relay in a time of 4:01.03, ninth in the 800 free relay in a time of 7:58.30, and tenth in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:40.72. Hanohano also recorded season best times at the UNLV Invite in the 50 free with a time of 25.88, the 100 fly in a time of 1:02.49, and the 200 fly in a time of 2:19.74.
High School: At Kamehameha High School, Liz was a Second Team All-League performer as well as the team MVP in her senior year. In 2006, she finished fourth at the state championships in the 200 individual medley and fifth in the 100 butterfly, helping the Warriors finish fourth as a team. She also participated on the water polo team, earning MVP honors in leading her team to the state championship in 2006.
Personal: Liz's parents are Lillian Hanohano and Gordon Hong. She is in the pre-optometry program for general sciences at Seattle University. Liz's full name is Elizabeth Rose K. Hanohano-Hong.
