2023: Rowed for the Second Varsity 8+ fifth place finish at the WIRAs Petite Final in April 2023.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned two varsity letters in volleyball at Kentwood High School where she was the team’s most inspirational (2018-2020), co-captain (2019-2020), and won the coach’s award (2019-2020)… team advanced to the NPSL Regionals and West Central Districts in both 2018-19 and 2019-20… Conk Crew Leader as a junior and senior… Key Club member as a junior and senior… Sports Medicine Club member her senior year… named English Student of the Year as a senior in 2019-20.

Alayna Tamaki was born March 13, 2002 in Seattle… parents are Steve Tamaki and Michelle Chinn… has one younger sister, Tali… majoring in computer science at Seattle U… would like to pursue a career in user experience or in athletics/sports medicine… enjoys spending time with her family, especially her cousins, playing cards, traveling, trying local restaurants, cooking, shopping, and driving around the city… competed in club volleyball, playing for Intensity Volleyball Club (2014-15), South End Volleyball Club (2015-16) and Lake Tapps Volleyball Club (2016-20).
