Entering his second season with the Seattle University volleyball program, Kevin Braceros continues to bring energy, passion and a strong commitment to player development to the Redhawks coaching staff. After joining Seattle U as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025 season, Braceros has played an integral role in recruiting, analytics and the development of the team's liberos and outside hitters.
Braceros enters his second season following Seattle U's inaugural campaign in the West Coast Conference, a landmark season that saw the Redhawks compete against one of the nation's premier volleyball conferences while continuing to build the foundation of the program. In his first season, Braceros contributed across the program, helping guide Seattle U through its transition to the WCC while supporting the growth of a roster that featured six returning players, four transfers and five incoming freshmen.
A key member of the Redhawks' recruiting efforts, Braceros brings an extensive background in club volleyball and a strong network throughout the recruiting landscape. Prior to joining Seattle U, he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Chi City Volleyball, a Chicago-based club organization. He previously served as a director of operations for Chi City while beginning his collegiate coaching career at North Central College.
An Illinois native, Braceros competed for three seasons at North Central College after beginning his collegiate career at Erskine College. During his time with the Cardinals, he earned back-to-back Academic All-CCIW honors. Following his playing career, he joined North Central's women's volleyball staff as a graduate assistant while earning his master's degree and continuing his work with Chi City.
Braceros' coaching philosophy centers on developing the whole student-athlete and creating meaningful connections both on and off the court. His experience across collegiate and club volleyball provides him with a comprehensive perspective on recruiting, player development, analytics and team culture.

"Seattle University's commitment to developing the whole student-athlete continues to align closely with my coaching philosophy and the impact I want to have on our athletes. I'm excited to build on our first season in the West Coast Conference and continue working alongside our staff and student-athletes as we grow this program."
With a passion for recruiting, a strong foundation in player development and an emphasis on connection and collaboration, Braceros enters his second season committed to helping Seattle U volleyball continue to grow and compete at the highest level.
