2007: Koutsky appeared in three matches for Seattle University during the season. Her best effort came against Division II national finalist Western Washington on Sept. 29, when she posted ten digs during the contest. She also earned a dig during Seattle's 3-0 victory over Saint Martin's on Sept. 15. She became one of the team's representatives on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and helped organize and run the annual Make-A-Wish Basketball Challenge.
Garfield HS: Koutsky earned Second Team All-KingCo honors while playing for the Bulldogs. She was named Star of the Week by the Seattle Times and Athlete of the Week by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Her team received the AVCA Team Academic Award three consecutive years (2004-2006), and she also earned the WIAA sportsmanship award at the 2005 state championships. During her senior year she notched 55 digs in one match.
Personal: Born April 14, 1989, Koutsky is the daughter of Jan and Jamie Koutsky. She is presently in the pre-major program.
