2009: Karina appeared in 31 games for the Redhawks, with a season-best 7 kills against UNLV on October 10. She earned 5 of her 6 digs in the first two matches of the season.
UC Colorado Springs: Karina appeared in 105 sets during the year, finishing third on the squad with 171 kills. She also finished second on the team with 25 service aces and led the way at the net with 13 solo blocks and 72 block assists for 85 total blocks.
New Trier HS: As a senior, Karina recorded over 200 kills and hit .370 as the team posted a 31-6 record. She led the Trevians to four straight Central Suburban League South Division titles and to the Illinois state finals in each of her first three seasons. She served 11 straight points in a state playoff match to help her team overcome a 17-10 deficit.
Personal: Karina, who speaks fluent Polish, is the daughter of Greg and Bozena Miastkowska. She is majoring in international business.
