High School: Emily was a two-sport athlete all four years at Notre Dame High School, participating in both volleyball and track and field. She led the Knights to a 27-3 overall record in 2011, including an unbeaten mark within the league, which she led with 355 kills and 295 digs. She was a three-time team captain and three-time all-league selection. In track and field, Emily qualified for the CIF preliminaries in the 400 meter run, the long jump, and the 4x400 meter relay.
Club: Playing for Legacy, Emily helped her squad win the 17s Division Volleyball Festival in 2011. She was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the MLK Speakeasy Tournament.
Personal: Emily's parents are Robert Moss and Margot Wain Moss. She is the youngest of four children, with her three older siblings all finding athletic success. Her brother Steve played pro baseball in the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners minor league systems, her brother Greg won the West Coast Conference golf championship while at Loyola Marymount, and her sister Meghan played volleyball at Fresno State. Born November 26, 1993, Emily is undecided about her major.
