2019 Outdoor: Had the WAC’s 12th-best time of the season in the outdoor 400m hurdles with 55.76 at the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships… placed third in the 400m dash with a time of 52.76 at the Ken Shannon Invitational… finished the 400m hurdles in 56.30 at the Bryan Clay Invitational… at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, took fifth place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.75… took third place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.90 at the Doris Heritage Track Festival.
2019 Indoor: Ran the 400m dash in 52.96 at the WAC Indoor Track and Field Championships… at the Last Chance College Elite, had a time of 52.92 in the 400m dash… ran the 400m dash in 52.88 at the UW Preview.
2018 Outdoor: With the 4x400 relay team, ran a composite 3:27.06 at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships and placed seventh… took second place in his section of the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.95 at the Bryan Clay Invitational… placed sixth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.91 at the Jay Hammer Invitational… took first place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.45 at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open.
2018 Indoor: Qualified for the finals in the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships 400m… as a member of the 4x400 relay team, took sixth place in the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 3.31.97… placed first in his section for the 400m at the University of Washington Open with a 52.13 time.
2017 Outdoor: At WAC Championships, finished 10th in the 400m hurdles prelims with a personal record time of 56.00 ... At OSU High Performance, finished 8th with a time of 57.59 ... At WAR X, finished 5th with a time of 57.22.
2017 Indoor: At the UW Invite, finished the 200 with a time of 24.7 ... At the UW Indoor Preview, finished the 400 with a time of 52.96.
HIGH SCHOOL: At Redmond High School, Steve Brown, Jr. was a six-time letter-winner, competing for two years on football (tight end, lineman) and all four years on track and field (110 hurdles, 300, 4x400). He was a KingCo League competitor in track and field all four years, a District competitor for three years, and made an appearance at State one year. During his senior year, Brown, Jr. was the KingCo Champion in the 110 meter hurdles. He was named MVP during his senior year, and was a team captain during his junior and senior years. Brown, Jr. is a member of Young Life, a Christian youth group, which he has been a leader of for two years.
PERSONAL: Brown, Jr. wants to major in psychology, with the career aspiration of becoming a coach.
