2021 Outdoor: Ran SU's seventh all-time and new personal record of 12.80 in the 100m and WAC's 15th-best and personal season best of 14.80 in the 100m hurdles at the Fresno State Invitational.

2020 Indoor: All-WAC Second Team… Academic All-WAC… WAC Women’s Track Athlete fo the Week (Feb. 17-23)… finished in fourth place with the 4x400m relay team at the WAC Indoor Championships, posting a new Seattle U indoor record with a total time of 3:52.62… broke her own school record in the 60m hurdles at that meet, winning first in her heat with a time of 8.74… that time was the WAC’s third-best of the season… broke her own school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.86 at the Last Chance College Elite Meet… also set a new personal record in the 60m dash at that meet with her time of 7.96… broke her own school record in the 60m hurdles at the Idaho Team Challenge with her first-place time of 8.91… at that meet, also set a new personal record of 26.55 in the 200m dash… with the 4x400m relay team, set a new Chiles Center record at the Portland Indoor One with their time of 4:03.11.

2019 Outdoor: Academic All-WAC... finished in sixth place in the 100m hurdles finals with a time of 14.80 at the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships… broke her own school record after finishing in 14.51 in that event’s preliminaries… as a member of the 4x100m relay team, broke her own school record with a composite time of 46.85 in that meet… at the Ken Shannon Invitational, won third place with a personal-best time of 14.34 in the 100m hurdles, which was the seventh-best mark in the WAC…  as part of the 4x100m relay team, broke the outdoor school record and took first place with a composite time of 47.75 at the Oregon State High Performance meet… placed third in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.55 in that meet… at the Bryan Clay Invitational, ran the WAC’s 17th-best time in the 400m hurdles with a personal-best 1:10.74… took second place in the 100m hurdles with a mark of 15.35 at the St. Martin’s Jay Hammer Invitational… finished in third place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.35 and took second with the 4x100m relay team’s mark of 49.66 at the Doris Heritage Track Festival.

2019 Indoor: Academic All-WAC… took eighth place in the 60m hurdles finals with a time of 8.95 at the WAC Indoor Track and Field Championships… her personal-best 60m hurdles time of 8.93 in the preliminaries in that meet set a new school record and was the seventh-best time in the WAC that season… took third place in the 60m hurdles at the Cougar Indoor with a time of 9.22.

2018 Outdoor: Western Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for April 30-May 6… broke a school record and won her heat in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.78 at the Ken Shannon Invitational… won her section with a 15.60 time in the 100m hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational… took fifth place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.60 at the Jay Hammer Invitational… with the 4x100m relay team, ran a composite 48.51 in the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and placed fourth… with the 4x100m relay team, took first place in their section and second place overall with a time of 49.23 at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open.

2018 Indoor: Academic all-conference… at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, had a 60m time of 8.13 and a 60m hurdles time of 9.25, both season-highs.

2017 Outdoor: At WAR X, finished 9th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.11 and finished 10th in the 200 with a time of 27.15.

2017 Indoor: At the UW Open, finished the 60m Hurdles with a personal record time of 9.31.

HIGH SCHOOL: At Galena High School, Michelle Newblom earned six varsity letters after participating for three years on the varsity soccer team and three years on varsity track and field. She competed in the 100/300m hurdles, 100m, 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m. In 2016, Newblom was named to First Team All-Region in the 300m hurdles, Second Team All-Region in the 100m hurdles and 4x100m, and Second Team All-State in the 300m hurdles. In 2015, she was Firs Team All-Region in the 100m hurdles. Her team also won women's regionals that year. She set the school record for the 300m hurdles in 2016 with a time of 46.34, and had the highest season point total on the team in 2016 with 98 points. In 2016, she won the regional title in the 300m hurdles. Newblom made it to State in three events her senior year. Newblom's high school soccer team won Regionals in 2013, and took third place in State that same year. She was named Second Team All-Region Defense in 2014, First Team All-Region Defense in 2015, and Defensive Player of the Year in 2015. Newblom also excelled in the classroom, earning an academic letter all four years, being named All-State Academic all four years, and earning a community service letter in 2015.

CLUB EXPERIENCE: Newblom played on two club soccer teams – Nevada Elite in 2012, and the Lady Nomads from 2013-2015. In 2015, her team won the California State Cup.

PERSONAL: Newblom plans to major in creative writing with the career aspiration of becoming a best-selling author.
