High School: Conner was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and three-year letterwinner in track and field at Jackson High School, including serving as captain of both teams during his senior year. He received the Everett School District Athlete of the Year Award spanning all sports and was a honorable mention all-district selection in cross country in 2012. Conner competed in the state championships in both cross country and track and field.
Personal: Conner is the youngest child of Brad and Dina Hayes with an older sibling named Alex. Born Dec. 31, 1994, he is a pre-major.
