Jama'l Chukueke

Jama'l Chukueke begins his sixth season as Coordinator of Game Operations. He is responsible for the operations of all home athletic events and coordination of other services such as concessions and security. During his time at Seattle University, Chukueke has successfully hosted athletic events at the Connolly Center, Championship Field, KeyArena at Seattle Center, and Bannerwood Park.

Chukueke came to Seattle from Marshall University in Huntington, W.V., where he was the Graduate Assistant to the Athletic Director for Game Operations and Athletic Facilities for two years.

Chukueke was the game operations supervisor for softball and volleyball as well as an assistant supervisor for soccer, baseball, men's and women's basketball, and football. Chukueke was responsible for coordination of more than 60 game day ushers, ticket takers and security for Marshall football games. He also assisted with pregame and on-field marketing and promotions for football, basketball, and Olympic sports.

In the 2003-04 academic year, Chukueke was the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Facility Operations at Syracuse University. In that role, he acted as the home game administrator for men's and women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, women's basketball, indoor track, and softball. He also wrote and administered contracts for non-university groups using university venues and was the facility supervisor for those non-university events.

Chukueke earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration from Lock Haven University in 2003 and his Master of Science degree in Athletic Administration from Marshall University in 2006. He was a member of the track and field team at Lock Haven and has volunteered for Big Brother/Big Sister and the Upstate New York Medical Center.
