Cascade Christian High School: Wescot spent four years running track for the Cougars. She made two state appearances in the javelin throw and was named to the All-District Team in 2010 and 2011. She also spent three years playing varsity volleyball, being named to the First Team in 2009-10 and 2010-11. Wescott was on the ASB Executive Team, a National Honor Society Member, and a Presidential Scholar Award winner.
Personal: Full name is Renate Elizabeth Wescott. Her parents are Paige and Gary Wescott, and she has a younger brother named Nathan. Her mom ran track and field at Lewis and Clark College, and her dad ran track and field and played football for Lewis and Clark. Wescott is majoring in international studies and would like to pursue a career in that field. She volunteered in Korea for three months teaching English. She enjoys traveling and riding horses, and learned German as herfirst language.
