2020 Indoor: Named a 2020 Seattle U Distinguished Graduating Student Award winner... competed in the shot put at the Idaho Team Challenge.
2019 Outdoor: Winner of the Seattle U Service to Athletics award… Academic All-WAC... at the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, finished third in her heat with a score of 32.86m in the javelin throw… had the WAC’s 14th-best score of the season with a personal-best mark of 34.03m in the javelin throw at the Ken Shannon Invitational… finished with a score of 29.11m in the javelin throw at the Oregon State High Performance meet.
2018 Outdoor: Had a 400m time of 1:01.82 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival… at the Jay Hammer Invitational, ran the 200m dash in 27.75 seconds.
2018 Indoor: As a member of the 4x400 relay team, took seventh place in the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 4:00.47.
High School: Hegg comes to Seattle U from Boulder, Colo., where she attended Boulder High School. Hegg was a State Championship qualifier in each of her four years of high school. She was a three-time Top Points Scorer (2014, 15, 17), two-time Top Female Track Performer (2015, 17) and the Female Student Athlete of the Year in 2017. She holds school records in the 4x100 and 4x200.
Personal: Hegg is majoring in kinesiology with a minor in entrepreneurial leadership at Seattle University. She is the founder of Spoon University at Seattle U. Hegg enjoys hiking, climbing, cooking and food blogging and also played soccer in high school.
