Issaquah HS: Emeera was a five time letter winner for the eagles and a captain for two years. In 2007 she won the KingCo and Sea-King district meets in the shot put, placing sixth at the state meet that year. Emeera repeated her performances the following year and placed fifth at the 2008 state meet. Her personal best in the shot put is 38.95 ft and 103.4 ft in the discus.
