2007: Battling a shoulder injury throughout the year, Cassi appeared in 25 games, including 12 starts. She batted .225, with a .500 slugging percentage as seven of her nine hits went for extra bases (five doubles, two home runs). She went 2-for-2 with 2 doubles against Western Oregon on March 2. Against Northwest Nazarene on March 10, she went 2-for-3 with a home run and six runs batted in. She hit a home run in a pinch-hitting role to account for Seattle's only run in a 1-0 victory at Saint Martin's on April 24.
High School: Cassi was one of the leading players for Xavier College Prep over her high school career. She led the team in home runs twice, was a two-time captain, earned the team MVP award, and was offensive player of the year in her junior season. A two-time First Team All-Region honoree, Cassi also earned the NFCA Scholar-Athlete Award in all four years. In her sophomore season, she led the Gators to the state tournament.
Personal: Cassi is the daughter of Tom and Laura Sharp. She is undecided about her major at Seattle University.
