2025 (Sophomore): Appeared in 47 games, earning the start in 42...led the team with a .418 batting average, recording 46 hits in 110 at bats...posted 11 runs, seven doubles, two triples, a home run run and 22 RBI while stealing one base...as a pitcher, appeared for 21 games, starting 15 while pitching 80.2 innings...struck out 67 batters and collected six wins and pitched six complete games...became the fifth Redhawk to pitch a no-hitter, the sixth ever in program history in victory over Yale...tallied 24 putouts and 18 assists between the pitcher's circle and right field...pitched all 5.0 innings in shutout no-hitter against Yale, striking out four batters without allowing a hit, a run or a walk...tossed career high 12 strikeouts against Utah Tech...tallied 12 multi-hit games, posting a career high three hits against Utah Tech...matched a career high four RBI against Pacific with first collegiate home run, a grand slam against Southern Utah...RBI single against Utah Tech pushed Redhawks back to the WAC Tournament semifinals...collected a season high four putouts against Utah Valley and three assists against CSUN.
2024 (Freshman): Appeared in 20 games, making seven starts and throwing five complete games... finished with a record of 3-6 with an ERA of 3.58 over 60.2 innings pitched with 46 strikeouts... allowed just one hit and run in first career start/complete game win over Georgia State (Feb. 10)... picked up first career save after allowing just one hit and striking out five against UC Riverside (Feb. 23)... allowed just two runs and struck out six at Portland State (Mar. 7)... struck out a career-high nine batters in a win over Stephen F. Austin (Mar. 29)... struck out six and allowed just three runs in a complete game effort against Tarleton (Apr. 26).
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year varsity letterwinner at Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nevada... 2022 Nevada softball Gatorade Player of the Year.... 2021-22 Nevada Desert Region Pitcher of the Year... 2021-22 First Team All-Southern Nevada & All-State Academic...a member of the 5A state championship team in 2022.
CLUB: played club for the SoCal Athletics from 2017-23.... a member of the team that placed seventh at the PGF Nationals in 2022.
Avari Isabella Morris was born December 27, 2004 in Fullerton, California.... parents are David and Denise... has five siblings; Natalie, Aarika, Aubree, Grant and twin sister & teammate Michaela... Aubree played softball collegiately at Florida and was a member of the USA team at the 2020 Olympics... enjoys reading, cooking and baking in her free time.
