Lewis is in his first year as an assistant coach for Seattle U's men's tennis program.
Born and raised in Seattle, Wash., Lewis started playing tennis at the age of three and was coached by head coach Mark Frisby throughout most of his junior years. Lewis went undefeated and won four straight high school tennis state championships at the Bush School in Seattle. He was ranked #1 in the PNW in the under 16 division as well as the under 18 division, and had a season ending national ranking of #23 in the under 18 division.
Lewis received a college scholarship from UC Berkeley and started both freshman and sophomore years while holding the team best in total wins his freshman year with 18. He transferred to Cornell University his junior year and started the next two years in the top 3 of the lineup. Lewis spent his final year as the assistant coach of the men’s tennis team at Cornell.
Lewis is currently in the MBA program at Seattle University.
