Eastern Washington: Malagutti was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. He tallied nine individual wins for the Eagles in 2009-2010 along with two doubles victories. He was named Player of the Month for June 2010.
E.E. Marciano Toledo Piza: Malagutti graduated from E.E. Marciano Toledo Piza in December of 2008.
Personal: Full name is Falvio Ariza Malgutti. His parents are Mirtis I. Ariza Malagutti and Walter Malagutti Filho. He has one younger sibling named Vitor. Malagutti is double-majoring in international studies and economics with a specialization in international development. He also spent 10 weeks as a counselor at the Tennis Academy at Harvard in Boston, Mass., in the summer of 2010.
