2012-13: At MPSF Championships Feb. 20-23, swam lead leg of 200 yard medley relay in 24.71 (relay time 1:34.19) ... swam third leg of 200 free relay in 22.42 (relay time 1:26.45) ... swam 100 yard butterfly in 53.44 ... swam 100 yard backstroke in 53.74 ... swam 200 yard backstroke in 1:56.92 ... anchored 400 yard free relay with leg of 50..38 (relay time 3:16.30).
On Jan. 18-19, Donohue swam lead leg for 400 yard medley relay in 55.25 (relay time 3:44.48) ... swam 200 yard butterfly in 2:11.23 ... swam 200 yard backstroke in 2:10.74 ... competed in 100 yard butterfly ... and swam 100 yard backstroke in 57.66
Versus Whitworth on Jan. 12, Donohue took fourth in 200 yard backstroke with mark of 2:02.79 ... swam 100 yard backstroke in 54.89 ... swam 100 yard butterfly in 56.96 ... swam second leg of 400 yard freestyle relay in 52.51 (relay time 3:25.58).
Versus Pacific Lutheran on Jan. 11, Donohue swam third leg for third-place 200 yard medley relay team in 24.81 (relay time 1:42.44) ... took fourth in 200 yard butterfly with time of 2:06.27 ... anchored 200 yard freestyle relay in 23.31 (relay time 1:31.14).
On Nov. 30 to Dec. 2 in the Husky Invitational, Donohue swam the 200 yard Backstroke with a time of 2:03.58, finished 75th ... took the 200 yard Butterfly with a time of 2:08.26, placing 105th ... anchored the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 54.43, taking 88th ... finished the 100 yard Backstroke in 54.92 and taking 67th place ... swam the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:05.97, finished 151st.
Versus British Columbia Nov 17, Donohue swam lead leg in 400 yard Medley Relay (relay time 3:41.03) ... finished 200 yard Freestyle in 2:02.37 ... took fifth in 200 yard Backstroke with a time of 2:02.77.
Versus Simon Fraser Nov. 10, Donohue swam lead leg in third-place 400 yard Medley Relay squad with leg of 54.51 (relay time 3:37.39) ... finished the 200 yard IM in 2:06.38 ... took the 200 yard Backstroke in 2:02.86 taking fifth.
At CSU Bakersfield Oct. 20, Donohue took the 100 yard Back in 55.16 and took seventh ... swam 200 yard Back in 2:00.80 and took fifth.
High School: Donohue was a four-time letter winner at Cleveland High School. He was Team Captain and MVP of the swim team in 2011-12, and he competed in the state swimming championships all four years. He helped lead the team to four district championships and is a two-time state champion in the 200 medley relay state and one-time state champion in the 100 backstroke. Donohue also played ultimate frisbee for the Warriors and helped the team take third in the state.
Club Experience: Donohue swam for the Portland Aquatic Club from 2011 to 2012, receiving co-MVP honors in 2011.
Personal: Full name Samuel Henry Sawyer Donohue. Parents are DC and Daniel Donojue, and he has three siblings: Luke, Lily, and Ida. Donohue is majoring in Spanish.
