2010-11: Drew entered the Seattle U swimming program as a freshman

On Nov. 6 at Pacific, Vandermeer swam the final leg on the 200 medley relay team (1:38.35) ... Finished the 50 freestyle in 22.02 ... Swam the 100 freestyle in 48.56 ... Swam the second leg on the 400 freestyle relay team (3:16.68)

At Seattle U's home meet against Simon Fraser, Vandermeer placed fifth in the 100 freestyle in 49.37 ... Swam the second leg on the third-place 400 freestyle relay team with a 48.50 split

On Dec. 3 at Utah, Vandermeer placed fourth in the 100 freestyle in 48.99 ... Swam the lead leg on the third-place 200 freestyle relay in 22.10 ... 

On Dec. 4 at BYU, he swam the final leg on the fourth-place 200 medley relay with a 21.45 split ... Placed seventh in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.09 

Against Whitworth on Jan. 28, he finished fourth in the 100 freestyle in 48.55
