Versus British Columbia Nov 17, Bley-Male swam third leg in the 400 yard Medley Relay (relay time 3:41.03) ... took fifth in in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 22.25 ... swam lead leg of 400 yard Freestyle Relay (relay time 3:18.22).
Versus Pacific Lutheran on Jan. 11, Bley-Male anchored second-place 200 yard medley relay team in 22.20 (relay time 1:40.56) ... swam 50 yard freestyle in 22.87 ... swam third leg in fastest 200 yard freestyle relay in 21.71 (relay time 1:25.68).
2011-12: In a home intersquad scrimmage October 22, Bley-Male swam the 50 yard Freestyle in 22.68 ... took fourth in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 54.80...competed in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay with a relay time of 3:20.72.
At Pacific Nov. 4-5, Bley-Male swam the 200 Medley Relay with a relay time of 1:39.98... swam the 100 Butterfly with a time of 55.46...took 6th in the 200 Freestyle Relay with a relay time of 1:31.10... competed in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 22.56...swam the 100 Butterfly with a time of 54.65...competed in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a relay time of 3:20.74.
In home meet versus Simon Fraser Jan. 20, swam third leg for third-place 200 yard medley relay team in 23.16 (relay time 1:36.63) ... swam anchor leg of third-place 200 free relay team in 21.62 (team relay 1:30.56) ... swam 50 free in 22.73.

2010-11: On Nov. 6 at Pacific, Bley-Male swam the 200 butterfly in 2:07.66 ... Swam the final leg on the sixth place 400 freestyle relay team (3:16.68)
At Seattle U against Simon Fraser on Nov. 13, he swam the final leg in 49.22 for a fourth-place finish on the 400 freestyle relay
Against Whitworth on Jan. 28, he placed third in the 100 butterfly in 53.47
At the MPSF Championships, he swam the third leg on the 200 medley relay (1:36.75) in 22.72 ... Finished ninth in the 100 butterfly in 50.67 ...
2009-2010: On October 3, Bley-Male swam against the University of Puget Sound. He competed in the 300 Backstroke Relay with a time of 56.62, the 500 Freestyle Relay with a 1:55.98, the 200 Freestyle Relay with a 22.75, the 400 Medley Individual Medley with a 57.71
At Pacific Collegiate Swim & dive Conference championships, competed in 50 Freestyle, placed 29th with a time of 21.99 ... competed in 200 Freestyle Relay, team placed 11th with a time of 1:26.50 ... competed in 100 Butterfly, placed seventh with a time of 51.29 ... competed in 100 Freestyle, placed 28th with a time of 48.43.
High School: Bley-Male attended Oregon Episcopal School, but swam for a local public school. He helped the team go to the state finals all four years, 2006-2009. He set many school and district records in both relays and individual races. At OES, he was part of the MIT-Lemelson InvenTeam and a National Merit Scholar.
Club Experience: Bley-Male has swum for the Portland Aquatic Club since 2000. He was an individual state champion at the age of 12, and has made it back to state for multiple events ever since. He also was part of a four-man cycling team in Race across Oregon. His team was the first under-18 group to finish.
Personal: Full name Owen Frederick Bley-Male. Parents are Linday Bley and James Male, and he has a younger brother named Max. Bley-Male is a mechanical engineering major and wants to work in either the mechanical or bio-engineering field after graduation.
