2013-14: At WAC Championships, anchored 200 medley relay with 50 freestyle split of 20.63 seconds to help team finish seventh in 1:31.92 ... finished 27th in 200 individual medley preliminaries in 1:55.26 ... posted 50 freestyle split of 20.81 seconds to help 200 freestyle relay finish seventh in 1:21.95 ... qualified for "C" final in 100 backstroke with preliminary time of 52.05 seconds, and then matched that time in evening finals to finish fourth in the race and 20th overall in the event ... qualified for "C" final in 200 backstroke with preliminary time of 1:52.08, and then finished third in his race and 19th overall in evening with mark of 1:53.08.

At Husky Invitational Dec. 6-8, finished 26th overall in 200 individual medley in 1:57.55 after preliminary time of 1:58.86 ... finished 33rd overall in 50 freestyle in 21.85 seconds after preliminary time of 22.23 seconds ... led off "B" 200 medley relay with split of 25.61 seconds ... posted time of 53.59 seconds in 100 butterfly prelims ... finished 24th overall in 100 backstroke in 54.35 seconds after preliminary time of 53.73 seconds ... posted time of 48.50 seconds in 100 freestyle prelims ... anchored "A" 400 freestyle relay to fifth-place finish with split of 47.70 seconds.

On Oct. 19 versus CSUB and GCU, swam the 100 backstroke in 54.21 ... finished sixth in 200 backstroke with a time of 1:58.58 ... anchored 400 freestyle relay with a total relay time of 3:15.80

Hawaii: Van Farowe started his collegiate career at the University of Hawaii before transfering to Seattle U.

High School: Van Farowe is a 2012 graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis, Calif., where he lettered four years in swimming. He was 2012 conference champion in the 100 backstroke, a three-year MVP, named twice to All-League selection, and earned All-American honors his senior year. He graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Club: Van Farowe was a two-year member of Wolverine Aquatic Club and one-year member of Stingray Swim Club.

Personal: Van Farowe was born in Gainesville, Fla. He has one brother and two sisters, and his parents are Lori and Jim Van Farowe. He is majoring in marketing.
