At Denver Nov. 12, Gilmore took fourth in 200 breast with time of 2:10.73 ... seventh in 200 IM with time of 1:57.91 ... ninth in 100 free with time of 48.91.

Gilmore was the SU Featured Student-Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Army meet.
At the Army meet on Oct. 8, Gilmore swam the lead leg for the 2nd place 200 medley relay team in 24.61 ... Won the 100 yard backstroke in 52.51 ... Placed 3rd in the 200 backstroke in 1:55.84 ... Placed 3rd in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:56.19 ...

At the MPSF Championships he swam the anchor leg on the record setting 800 freestyle

On October 12, Gilmore swam in the PCSC Relay Meet. He competed in the 300 Breatstroke Relay with a final time of 3:01.58, the 200 Freestyle Relay with a final of 1:29.19, and the 400 Individual Medley Relay with a final of 3:43.79.
At Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Championships, his team won 800 Freestyle Relay with a time of 6:48.32 ... competed in 200 Individual Medley, placed second with a time of 1:51.79 ... competed in 400 Individual Medley, placed second with a time of 3:59.70 ... competed in 200 Backstroke, placed fifth with a time of 1:53.14.
High School: Gilmore was a four year letterwinner at South Eugene High School. He notched All-American times in the 200 meter relay and the 200 meter freestyle, and was named Team MVP in 2007.
Club Experience: Gilmore swam for Eugene City Swim Club 2006-2009. He won the state championship in the 50 yard freestyle in 2008 and qualified for Nationals in the 400 IM in 2009.
Personal: Full name is James Robert Gilmore. His parents are Ann Drain and Robert Gilmore, and he has an older sister named Melissa and a younger sister named Lindsey. Gilmore is a biochemistry major and wants to work in the pharmaceutical field after graduation.
