PRIOR TO SEATTLE U: Hamish Ritchie is from Aberdeen, Scotland. He played the last two years at Hartwick (NY) College. Last season, he earned All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team honors. In 2016, he was Sun Belt Co-Freshman of the Year. Ritchie tallied four goals and eight assists in his two years as a Hawk.

“Hamish was a two-year starter at Hartwick,” said Coach Pete Fewing. “What really stood out for us was his passing ability, he has a great longer range of passing and can also combine through the midfield with short quick passes.  Technically Hamish is very comfortable under pressure and has the ability to dictate the game from a central midfield position. We are excited to work with Hamish and look forward to him integrating into the team.”
