Club: Austin was part of state championship teams with both the Piranahas and Washington Premier before joining the Seattle Sounders FC Academy in 2010. He was team captain during 2008 with Washington Premier.

Personal: Austin is the youngest child of Matt and Lori Sweeney, plus he has an older sister (Megan) and an older brother (Justin). Born July 12, 1994, he is a pre-major in arts & sciences.
