2007: Kumangai-McGee appeared in ten matches for the Redhawks, entering the starting lineup late in the season seven times. He was part of a tough defense that allowed only 13 goals in 19 matches for a 0.67 goals against average, including eight shutouts.  

2006: Kumangai-McGee redshirted for the 2006 season.

North Idaho College: In 2005, Kumangai-McGee was selected to the All-NJCAA Region 18, named team defensive player of the year, was nominated for All-American honors and was named North Idaho College male scholar-athlete of the year along with being the team's co-captain. NIC finished with a 12-2-3 record and a first place finished in the Scenic West, winning the NJCAA Region 18 championship and reaching NJCAA national quarterfinals. In 2004, Kumangai-McGee was named to the All-NWAACC North-East team and was selected as team defensive player of the year. NIC finished with an 11-5-3 record and a third place finish in the NWAACC East, reaching the quarterfinals of NWAACC playoffs.

North Central: Kumangai-McGee had two goals and nine assists, earning first team All-GSL 2004, honorable mention 2003, the team most valuable player award 2004. Kumangai-McGee was named team co-captain 2003-2004. His team reached the district playoffs in 2001.

Personal: Kumangai-McGee is majoring in strategic communications. Born October 29, 1985, his parents are Katharine Kumangai and John Blanchette, a sports columnist at the Spokane Spokesman Review.
