2008: Redshirt season.
High School: In three seasons on the Ballard High School soccer team, John scored 21 goals. He was captain of the team during his senior season, after which he earned honorable mention all-league recognition. He was named Student of the Month for December 2007 and was a Washington state scholar.
Personal: The oldest of three children, John's parents are Andrew Bardwell, Karen Bardwell, and David Jump. Born December 16, 1989, he is majoring in sport and exercise science. John is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is a Student-Athlete Peer Mentor.
