2022-23 (GRADUATE STUDENT): Set the single-season record in scoring average (71.76), national rating (215), finish percentage (75.8%), made birdies (114), par four scoring (4.0852), par five scoring (4.6337)... posted the lowest 54 hole total in school history with a second place finish at the UC San Diego Invitational with a 14-under 202 (68-68-66) (Mar. 27-28)... finishes career with the best career scoring average (72.81), most par or better rounds (57) and most made birdies (462)... competed in 11 tournaments and 29 rounds... finished tied for 11th at the Herb Wimberly intercollegiate with a three-round total of even 213 (70-74-69)  (Oct. 17-18)...finished fourth at the Seattle U Invitational with a three-round total of 211 (66-69-76) (Apr. 3-4).

2021-22 (SENIOR): Earned WAC Championships (Apr. 29-May 1) medalist honors with a nine-under 207 (73-67-67)... placed 72nd at NCAA Stockton Regionals with a three-round total of 16-over (78-78-76)... marked Seattle U's eighth best single season scoring average at 73.32... ranks third in single season birdies made (104) and fourth in par or better rounds (12) and single season par three scoring (3.1532)... finished second overall out of 120 golfers at the shortened Seattle U Redhawk Invitational (Apr. 5) with a single round total of one-under 70... finished tied for second overall at the Orange Country Classic (Feb. 7-8) with a three-round total of three-over 219... finished tied for fourth at the Oregon State Invitational (Nov. 11-12) with a three-round total of two-under 211.

2020-21 (JUNIOR): Posted the fifth best single-season scoring average and ranked fifth in the WAC (73.15) and currently holds the best scoring average over entire career (73)... posted the third best single-season par three scoring average (3.1250) and fifth best par four scoring average (4.1443)... had a season-low round of five-under 67 at the WAC Championship (Apr. 30-May 2) and finished the tournament tied for ninth overall at one-under 215 (67-74-74)... made a total of 73 birdies and one eagle over seven tournaments and 20 rounds.

2019-20 (SOPHOMORE): Posted the best single-season scoring average (72.50) and scoring average versus par (+1.18) in program history… that mark was also third-lowest in the WAC… also posted the best par 4 scoring average (4.1211) and par 5 scoring average (4.6456) in program history… his season-low round of minus-eight 63 at the Nick Watney Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) was the lowest (and lowest versus par) in school history, and was also tied for the best round in the WAC that season… shot four eagles on the season, tied for fifth-most in program history… competed in eight tournaments and 22 rounds… tied for 21st place at the Bandon Dunes Championship (Mar. 8-10) after shooting 65-72-78 for a two-over 215… his round of 65 at that tournament is tied for third-lowest in school history and tied for the fifth-lowest versus par… that round was also tied for the fifth-lowest in the WAC that season… his 36-hole total of five-under 137 tied for the second-lowest mark in school history… tied for ninth place at The Joust at Goose Creek (Feb. 24-25) after shooting 72-70-76 for a plus-eight 218… at that tournament, won the All-Five Trophy with his team… at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invite (Oct. 21-23), tied for seventh place after shooting a minus-four 212 (72-69-71)… finished in fourth place at the Nick Watney Invitational, posting a 10-under 2013 (72-68-63)… his 54-hole total at that tournament is the lowest in school history.

2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Team MVP... finished the season with the fourth-best scoring average in program history... took first place at the WSGA Men's Championship (Apr. 23-24) with a nine-under 135 after two rounds (68-67)... WAC Men’s Golfer of the Month (October)… competed in 11 tournaments and 33 rounds… stroke average of 73.24… season-low round of six-under 66 at the Nick Watney Invitational (Oct. 1-2)… tied for eighth place overall at the WAC Men’s Golf Championships (Apr. 27-29) with a three-over 216 (76-69-71)… tied for seventh place at the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational (Apr. 1-2) after shooting seven-under 206 (72-67-67)… tied for 41st place at the Oregon Duck Invitational (Mar. 25-26) with a 10-over 226 (73-72-81)… tied for 39th place at the Sacramento State Invitational (Mar. 4-5) after shooting a four-over 220 (73-73-74)… at the Little Rock Invitational (Oct. 22-23), tied for 24th place with a five-over 221 (70-76-75)… placed fourth overall at the Nick Watney Invitational, shooting 10-under 206 (72-68-66)… placed 17th at the Husky Invitational (Sept. 25-26) after shooting a 10-over 223 (76-76-71)… tied for 25th place at the Ram Masters Invitational (Sept. 17-18) with a five-over 215 (69-73-73).

 HIGH SCHOOL

Competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championships in 2018… placed in the top 20 in the 2018 Washington State Golf Association Men’s Amateur Championship… was a four-year letterman on Kentwood High School’s golf team, earning the MVP award all four years… posted undefeated records in his freshman, sophomore, and senior seasons…all-league First Team all four years… qualified for State all four years… posted KHS school records in match points and season points… competed as a member of Team Washington in the 2017 and 2018 Hogan Cup.

Nathan Cogswell has experience as an assistant captain in the PGA Junior League... he is considering a career in mechanical engineering or professional golf... majoring in Business Analytics at Seattle U.
