2006 Outdoor: Recorded a season best shot put at the UW Preview meet on March 18 with a throw of 29-01. Season best discus and javelin throws came at the Ralph Vernaccia Invite on March 31 with a throws of 89-06 and 106-5 respectively.
2006 Indoor: On Feb. 18 placed 11th at the GNAC Championships in the shot put with a season best throw of 31-0.5.
High School: Kyle competed in throwing events for Curtis High School, helping the Vikings win the league title in 2004 and 2005. His personal bests were 32[apos] 4" in the shot put, 99[apos] 11.5" in the discus, and 98' 8" in the javelin. He was also an All-State bowler, averaging 190 as he led his team to a 27-3 record in the 2004-05 season.
Personal: Kyle's parents are Keith and Cheri Finnegan and George and Ann Tyler. He is majoring in business administration with emphasis on management and marketing.
